Terms & Conditions
The terms and conditions below are a formal agreement between you and EmpowerNatal. This is a working partnership between both parties.
Services and care
-
The services provided at EmpowerNatal do not replace your routine maternity care, and if you have any concerns after the consultation, please contact EmpowerNatal as soon as possible and/or your local maternity unit.
-
If any concerns arise about whether it is appropriate to treat you or if circumstances change, EmpowerNatal has the right to decline or suggest a different approach, for example, for relaxation purposes only.
-
By purchasing a service from EmpowerNatal, you agree to the recommended length to receive its full benefits. The therapeutic effects may only achieve their full potential after completing the course.
-
The aim is to minimise and/or treat pregnancy or postnatal discomforts, support you in preparing for labour, facilitate promotion of labour for ‘postdates’ pregnancies and relaxation purposes.
-
It is important to note that the care provided does not claim to 'cure' or offer 100% guarantee of the desired outcome. Many pregnancy symptoms may require ‘maintenance’ care to minimise their severity.
-
In some circumstances, it can be recommended to seek support from other expert professionals.
Payment
-
Full payment for individual appointments and course of treatments/package is required by bank transfer at time of booking or at least 48 hours before your first appointment. The payment is non-refundable.
Cancellation and rescheduling
-
It is required a minimum of 48 hours notice to cancel the appointment. The payment made before the appointment is non-refundable. If the appointment is missed without notice, no alternative date will be offered. In the event of hospitalisation or unforeseen circumstances that you cannot control, the appointment can be deferred at no additional cost.
-
If the appointment is cancelled with more than 48 hours, a new date can be reschedule subject to yours and EmpowerNatal's availability.
-
If you have had your baby before the single appointment or completion of a course of treatments/package, it will be postponed for the postnatal period and can be arranged when suitable to you, up to one year after your baby’s birth.
Data protection
-
Your privacy is taken seriously. EmpowerNatal is committed of protecting your personal information and maintaining the confidentiality of your medical records.
-
EmpowerNatal adheres to GDPR (General Data Protection Regulations), insurance, and NMC (Nursing and Midwifery Council) requirements to ensure your data is secure.
-
Security breaches may result in sharing sensitive information with relevant care providers (i.e. your named Midwife) if it is found it would be absolutely relevant information to know, and you will be asked to give your permission. EmpowerNatal would only disclose personal information to third parties about your dependents if it is learnt about any risk of harm.
Information sharing
-
Before receiving any care provided by EmpowerNatal, you will be asked to supply information relevant to the care offered, including your current health, medications, pregnancy and obstetric history, or any other information you may find pertinent. You will be asked to have access to your maternity handheld notes or digital notes. Failure to provide accurate details may result in unsuitable or inappropriate care, for which EmpowerNatal accepts no responsibility.
